Graduation Requirements
Most of the core courses offered by PCIA are eligible for College in the High School credit, as described in the online course listing. Students who master course material at the college level may earn transferable college credits for the course. Students are also required to complete a High School & Beyond Plan and a Washington State (PNW) History course, which is included in our curriculum.
The chart below is based on the state-required minimum number of credits a student needs to receive a high school diploma from Pacific Crest Innovation Academy.

High School and Beyond Plan
At PCIA, just like at every other high school in Washington, our students are required to create and successfully complete a High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) in order to graduate. Through our academic advising program, we’re with you through every step of creating and implementing your HSBP. Visit OSPI’s website to read more about the HSBP. Ready.Set.Grad’s yearly graduation resources for HS students
We like to use Ready.Set.Grad’s resources to help our students map out what their high school career might look like. These helpful tools were developed by the Washington Student Achievement Council, a state agency dedicated to helping all students achieve their educational goals in high school and beyond. These resources, in addition to the support you’ll receive from the PCIA academic advisor, will keep you on track to pursue whatever path you choose after high school, whether that be college, career, or something else.
